What are picky pads made of?

Our picky pads are made from high-quality, non-remeltable silicone. This means the silicone has been fully cured and will not soften, melt, or reshape when exposed to heat — making them durable, safe, and long-lasting for everyday use.

Why do you use non-remeltable silicone instead of remeltable silicone?

Safety is our top priority. Remeltable silicone (sometimes called "platinum cure" or low-grade silicone blends) can soften or deform when exposed to body heat or warm environments. This poses real risks:

  • Choking hazard: Softened pieces can break apart more easily, creating small parts that are dangerous — especially for children.
  • Chemical exposure: Lower-grade remeltable silicones may release additives or plasticizers when heated repeatedly.
  • Inconsistent texture: Remeltable pads lose their shape over time, reducing their effectiveness and lifespan.

Our non-remeltable silicone picky pads hold their shape, stay safe, and are built to last.

Are picky pads safe for children?

Yes! Our picky pads are made from fully cured, non-remeltable silicone that does not break down under normal use conditions. As with any sensory or fidget product, adult supervision is recommended for young children due to small parts/beads.

How long does shipping take?

We ship all domestic U.S. orders within 1–4 business days from the time your order is placed. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships so you can follow it every step of the way.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout depending on your location. If you need your order by a specific date, please reach out to us before placing your order and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, international orders are available exclusively through our Etsy shop. Etsy's platform supports international shipping and buyer protections that make it the best experience for our customers outside the U.S. Visit our Etsy store to place your international order.

Why can't I order internationally through this website?

How do I care for my picky pad?

Picky pads are easy to clean! Simply rinse with warm water and mild soap, then air dry. Because our silicone is non-remeltable, it's safe to wash without worrying about warping or damage.
